I could not sit on the sofa or chair without the cushions sliding out from under me. And sitting on them was actually painful! I had a choice of buying new furniture, getting both pieces totally redone or just replace the cushions cores. I opted for the latter. I was certain that the couch cushions would be fine as they were simple dacron wrapped squares, but the proof came with the custom T shaped chair cushion. Perfect fit.
