Since 1999, FoamOrder has been helping homeowners, designers, and commercial customers with top-quality, U.S.-made custom cushions. Our over 100 years of collective experience can help you get the custom cushion you need, with or without fabric covers, for almost any application. And, our Designer/Trade Program is focused on meeting the specific needs of design professionals and trade members. You’ll have a dedicated specialist to help with your project, discounts specific to trade customers, and our ability to work with your fabric or custom pattern for any project. Designer/Trade Program FAQs

What is your Trade discount?

Our Trade discount begins at 10% for all trade orders, and can escalate up to 20% based on increasing order volume in the past 12 months. Once you have an active trade account, this discount is automatically applied to any order in your cart as long as you are logged in.

Who is Qualified to join your Trade program?

Our Trade program is available to design professionals for projects they are working on for their customers. In order to qualify, you must verify your business with the proper credentials during the application process.

What credentials are required to apply?

To qualify for our Designer/Trade program, you will need to upload a valid Business License, EIN, or Resale Certificate. We do not require membership in a major design organization (e.g. ASID) but if you belong to one you are encouraged to upload your membership ID. We do not require Design Certification (e.g. NCIDQ) but if you have certification you are encouraged to upload it as well.

How do I apply for a Trade account?

Click here to complete our trade application. You will receive notification of your membership status within one business day.

Does your Trade program offer tax exemption?

Sales tax is automatically waived in all states except California. If you’re a California based designer and/or your qualifying orders will be shipping within California, you can opt for tax exemption on our Trade application as long as you upload your valid Resale certificate.

How do I log into my Trade account?

Once your account has been set up, you can log in by clicking here.

How do I place a Trade order?

Once your Trade account has been activated, you can simply sign in to your account to shop and place orders on our website. Your 10–20% Trade discount will be automatically applied to all orders at checkout. As always, our friendly customer service team is always available to help with questions.

Do you offer foam samples and fabric swatches?

Yes! You can order foam samples from the Contact Us page of our website. Samples of our fabrics can be ordered by going to our Custom Sewing page and then browsing our list of fabrics. You can always contact us anytime to request any sample(s) or swatch(es) you may need.

Do you work with COM and Patterns?

Yes! We will work with COM and/or a customer-provided pattern shape for any order. For COM, place an order through our website and select "COM" as the option when selecting your upholstery cover. For pattern shapes, select "Pattern Shape" when choosing the shape of your cushions during the order process. The website will provide instructions at the end of the order process on how to send us your COM and/or pattern.

Please Note: Our website will provide yardage calculations based on the entered dimensions for your order, but you will be responsible for ordering/providing the material and shipping it to us. We are not responsible for any fabric that arrives damaged or flawed.

What other products do you offer aside from custom cushions?

At FoamOrder, we pride ourselves on offering the Internet’s largest selection of foam products for home or commercial use. We offer 5 firmness options for organic foam, and also have organic fabric and batting options. In addition, we offer a wide variety of neoprene sheets, and closed cell foam products.
