CMHR (Combustion Modified High Resilient) foam is used when the strictest fire code standards are required, such as in hotel lobbies, hospitals, schools, and in mass transit vehicles (airplanes, buses). We offer two firmness options for our fire retardant foam, Firm (ILD 45) and Medium-Firm (ILD 35). Fire retardant chemicals in this foam give the texture a grainy feel. We can cut your fire retardant (CMHR) foam to any dimension or thickness, including cutting to a pattern that you send to us.
We sell the brand Code Red 2® foam, which is a preferred component to pass the Cal 133 and Cal 117 fire codes. These codes represent the amount of time it takes for the composite to burn. The Cal 133 code is one of the most stringent. Fire proof standards are determined by testing the finished product. This foam is a good component to help you pass these tests.
