I purchased 2 replacement foams for my 7 year old sofa. I used the "Chat" function to make a decision on firmness. I was going to order a very firm foam, but the representative on Chat was very honest and said it would be too firm. So I went with the 2.8 and it's perfect. The original foams were marked as 1.8. TIP.........don't let them expand from the compressed shipping. Install them first and it's easier to slip them in the covers and they will expand and fill out nicely.

We love our three layer foam mattress but it took us three tries to get it right. We've gone from firm to medium to soft and finally are having the best nights with N28, N28, N25. We're not thrilled with the cost of changing out the layers, but we are happy to finally be comfortable.

I use my foam cushion on the swinging patio swing on my enclosed patio room and it seems as if I'm sitting on a cloud. It is so comfortable that I have slept on it while watching tv. I love it.
