A dense custom cushion takes a couple of days of sitting on it for an hour or two to break it in. It did not take as long as I imagined to break it in. Then you have that cradling effect of your hips sinking-down slightly into the foam, which gives your back support. There is a big difference in the substance of the foam, in the density of the foam between quality custom foam and a store-bought cushion. My cushion is 3-inches thick. I am nowhere near bottoming-out against the chair's hard wooden seat.

I purchased the sofa in 2008. The frame is still in great shape but the seat cushions needed a lot of help. The new foam cushions are a perfect fit and it is like having a brand new couch.

I ordered foam for our couch. Our couch came with pillows for your back that was stuffed with pillow stuffing. Was terrible. So I ordered some down pieces to insert in the pillow cases instead. I made the mistake though of ordering the firmest one. I had to reorder the softest ones. I also ordered a top cushion to make the seating more comfortable. Got those med. Firmness. Couch sits great now. Ordering was easy and they shipped fast. Getting them wrapped is Nice to. Its a white thin fluffy padding.

I wish I'd updated my sofa seat covers earlier; I can't believe what a difference it makes. Foam was exactly as described and fit perfectly.

Ordered some custom cut foam for dining room chairs and they were received cut exactly as promised. Made it a lot easier than having to cut them to shape myself and no worry about getting the correct amount. Would use Foam Order again.

I bought this because I wanted to avoid cushioning like polyester or foam that is a petroleum product. This product was even better then I had hoped. Very thick and substantial foam. Very comfortable. No nasty smell. My only complaint is that it came wrapped in a ton of plastic which was the very thing I was trying to avoid! Foamorder, cloth straps to secure the rolled up the foam, a paper or waxed paper wrapper, and a simple cardboard box would have been fine for shipping. Please consider using such materials. Thanks.
