The ordering process worked well, the folks at FoamOrder were very helpful especially about the custom shape, and delivery was on the stated schedule. And the mattress is very comfortable. The only issue is that the new mattress was outgassing a rather strong smell when it arrived. It took about two weeks for this to be sufficiently reduced, during which time we had to put the mattress in a well ventilated room. So you need to keep that additional lead time in mind when anticipating when you can actually sleep on it.

Foam Order recommended the EverFlex 3" soft egg crate mattress pad to replace the worn pad on my Sleepnumber extended queen size mattress. With the custom cutting and shipping included the EverFlex pad was competively priced compared to the Sleepnumber pad and is a denser, thicker foam. My Sleepnumber mattress is now better than new.

I worked with someone on the phone to construct this bed: It needed to be longer and narrower than a Twin Size for my 200+-pound husband, who spends about 16 hours a day either lying or sitting on it. The mattress came in a box in 3 pieces: Base foam, memory foam and zippered cover. I LOVE the cover!! It's so soft, fits well and because it zips 3 sides, it was easy to put on. The foam seems to be good quality (time will tell) - it springs back even after many hours of use. My hubby's lower back/hip was hurting before we bought this and now that pain is gone. The mattress was great, but my favorite thing was the customer service. They expedited my order to get it to me in time for my vacation, and were able to change the size I ordered. I think I was still charged for the extra long, despite changing it to the normal size, but I never asked for it to be fixed, so five stars!
