I currently sleep on a layered latex mattress I bought from a different mattress supplier. I wanted to replace the top 3 inch layer of talalay (soft density) as it wasn’t comfortable. I’ve been sleeping on it for two years and just couldn’t get comfortable. I couldn’t tell if I was sinking to the bottom or it was just still too firm even though it was Labeled soft. I’ve been wanting to try the egg crate latex topper and finally ordered one a few weeks ago. Since I sleep on a split king (inside only) mattress, I ordered a twin x-long Eggcrate and a twin 1” slab of dunlop to replace the 3” slab of talalay. I arranged the eggcrate pointy side down and the 1” slab underneath it. The height was perfect. All I can say is WOW - what a major difference! No more pain and numbness. No more tossing and turning. I feel well rested for the first time in years. I’m embarrassed that i didn’t try this sooner. I spoke to customer service before I place the order asking about the shipping times. I was assured that it was in stock would arrive at my home in two weeks time. It actually arrived in eight days in good condition. This is my second order with foam order, the first of which were pillows that I returned. The return was very easy and quick, no questions asked. I would definitely order more from foam order in the future and I would definitely recommend them to a friend. Great experience both times.

This convoluted Foam version had a lot of messy crumbles to clean up before I put it in the cover. It is very comfortable On my bed after I put it in the cover. The non-convoluted version would probably be less messy.

So very happy with this topper. The latex is the perfect density. I choice the 2" medium. I sleep on my stomach, so I don't do well with an overly soft surface. However, I also have fibromyalgia (35 years of it) and need the cushioning for the dreaded "trigger points" in my shoulders and upper back. This filled the bill! The cover is absolutely wonderful, (I got the certified Organic Cotton one, and had it prewashed (a must) before they made it, and it fits perfectly. It even adds a layer of comfort on top, as it allow the latex to perform and yet have a layer of cotton softness. It is well worth the cost. It fits perfectly, and the foam comes with the cover installed so cuts the work of having to put it on, and also assures you that it fits! With the cover installed, you can handle the topper positioning, etc. and prevent accidently tearing the foam...another great idea. Now about the vanilla smell. 1. very slight, but I could smell it. 2. I held back my enthusiasm to put it on my bed and rightfully so, as I took the advice to air out the topper (still in the cover) for 1 week. I draped it over a guest bed in a room with plenty of good air circulation and turned it every day for about 4 days, and then left it alone with sleeping side up with a floor fan aimed at it for the last three days. THE VANILLA SMELL WAS GONE. I am so happy! I have a special feather bed cover that I customized for a full size topper, and it fit perfect. This new topper lays directly on another 3 inch topper which is firmer, and can take a fitted full sheet. I use a flat sheet on my foamorder topper as it makes it perform the way I need it to. That way I can play with sheeting, which makes it all the more fun.

I was making custom cushions for MCM chairs I got from the 60s. Non-toxic is key for me. These were well priced, shipping was free, and they don't even have much of a latex smell. Super comfortable.

I only dropped one of the stars because despite my most careful efforts to measure and measure again, and despite the incredibly helpful and patient guidance I received from the Foam Order staff member who worked with me on the phone, my new sofa seat latex forms (with single-wrapped Dacron) did not properly fill our existing sofa cushion covers. The foam should definitely have been double- not single-wrapped (the staffer advised single wrap). In fairness, it is extremely hard to make these judgment calls by phone, hundreds of miles away. But I remedied the situation by using the Dacron wrap that was wrapped around our original foam, and sliding the now double-wrapped blocks of latex into the original form covers, and then inserting those cotton-covered units into the linen sofa cushion covers. This involved some careful removal of the original glued-Dacron wrap, and a good deal of basting with thread to keep the double-wrap in place, plus re-close the cotton foam covers. Quite a production, but worth it, as the result is perfect and the seat cushions are SOOO much better and will stay firm and lovely for 15 years. (As opposed to the really cheap foam that was used for the original sofa, only two years old when we knew we had to replace it!) So, if you decide to replace your foam cushion forms, SAVE YOUR ORIGINAL WRAP AND COTTON FORM COVERS! But definitely work with Foam Order--their foam is the highest quality and their customer service is patient and caring. They will stay with you on the phone as long as it takes to help you figure out what you need. It's just tough to get the new foam and wrap to perfectly fill the cushion covers, and long-distance calculations are always going to be a bit of an educated guess, I think, despite Foam Order's exemplary website and directions.
