Our professional seamstresses can handle any custom sewing job to create premium quality cushion covers. We carry several lines of fabric: Sunbrella® brand, our own discount fabric, the Robert Allen premium interior fabric line, cotton prints from Premier Prints, certified organic cotton muslin, and organic 100% Hemp fabric. In addition we carry a line of Nautilus Marine Vinyl for boat and specialty outdoor cushion needs. You can also send us your own fabric and we’ll make custom cushion covers in your desired dimensions. We will give you instructions at the conclusion of your order on how to mail your fabric to us. Order these fabric covers along with foam cushions, or you may order just the fabric cover alone. We sew a zipper into each cover for easy removal, and also offer chair ties and velcro strips as needed. If you aren’t ordering a standard shape cushion, select “Pattern Shapes” from the shapes selector and follow instructions for creating and mailing us your own custom shape pattern. We finish all of our custom covers both inside and out, which prevents the fabric from unraveling on the inside when cleaned. All of our covers should be dry-cleaned only. There are no returns or cancellations on any custom sewn products.

You can order your complete piece (foam and fabric cover) by visiting our custom cushions section. Choose a “custom cut” shape, enter your dimensions, and then select your fabric and foam from the available options.
Welt cording makes any fabric covered pillow or cushion look complete and professional. We painstakingly match the pattern in the front with the pattern on top despite the seams cut and sewn for cording. This is very difficult and requires skilled sewing. You may mix and match colors of fabric and cording. If you select a striped Sunbrella® fabric cover, we recommend that you select cording in a solid color that will match one of the stripe colors. (Note that cording is not necessary for mattress covers.)
Create a contemporary or modern looking cushion by top-stitching instead of adding welt cord. If using top stitching, we recommend that you order the foam one-half inch thicker than the casing to stretch out the fabric if you don’t have a Dacron wrap or down envelope added. If you want you can specify a different color thread to be used for the top stitch by adding comments to the cover item once it is in your shopping cart.
We can add chair ties (or cushion ties) to any cushion shape. The ties will be made from the same material used to make your cover. Chair and cushion ties are purchased by the set—a set is made up of the two individual strips that tie together to form one “knot,” holding your cushion in place against the furniture. For vinyl covers, a set of velcro ties is made up of two individual half-inch wide strips that overlap and connect firmly with velcro backing in order to form one “knot.” We highly recommend using no less than TWO SETS of ties to secure your cushion to your furniture. You can specify where the chair ties should be placed on your cover after clicking the “Add to Cart” button. We also offer velcro strips on your sewn covers for an extra charge.
