We offer ten densities of foam mattresses to choose from. Prices start dirt cheap, up to rigid, long lasting (20 years) foams. Our EconoFlex foam grade is used in the manufacturing of 90% of all sofas—we don't recommend this grade except for applications that don't get used a lot. Take time to read the descriptions of our foam, below. These descriptions are presented again at the bottom of the price quote page, for your convenience. Keep in mind that thinner foam is softer and thicker foam is firmer than the descriptions given.

These descriptions apply to foam used as a mattress for a person weighing about 175 pounds (80 kg). Your weight will affect the foam's firmness.

Conventional Foams	Please note that all of our conventional foams meet Cal 117 fire code specifications.

EverFlex™ V34 Medium-Firm	We recommend this foam for any cushion or mattress. It is best in 5" or 6" (13-15 cm) thicknesses. We strongly recommend you buy a custom cover to protect any foam of this quality. This foam is expected to last 15 years without dipping, flattening, or softening. It is a very good foam. (Density: 2.6 lb/ft³, ILD: 34.)

EverFlex™ V44 Firm	This is one of the best pieces of urethane foam (second only to Latex). EverFlex™ V44 foam is heavy and will give you many years of support. It is recommended for seat cushions or mattresses. This foam is too firm for back cushions. We strongly recommend you buy a custom cover to protect any foam of this quality. This foam is expected to last 15 years without dipping, flattening, or softening. It is a very good foam. (Density: 2.8 lb/ft³, ILD: 40.)

EverFlex™ V54 Very Firm	EverFlex™ V54 is a high quality firm grade of foam. This foam is one of the best qualities. It is great for a seat cushion or firm mattress, but too firm for back cushions. We strongly recommend you buy a custom cover to protect any foam of this quality. This foam is expected to last 15 years without dipping, flattening, or softening. It's a very good foam. (Density: 2.9 lb/ft³, ILD: 45.)

EverFlex™ V90 Rigid	This is a high quality extra firm foam. This foam is hard. You could not get a firmer cushion unless you sat on wood. It is one of our strongest foams and will give years of support. This is our most popular cushion replacement if you want a really firm foam or are over 230 pounds (105 kg). EverFlex™ V90 foam is too firm for back cushions. This foam is expected to last 15 years without dipping, flattening, or softening. It's a very good foam. (Density: 3.2/ft³, ILD: 70.)

DuraFlex™ D34 Firm	DuraFlex™ D34 foam is a mid-grade, good foam. This foam is expected to last 10 years without dipping, flattening, or softening. It's a very good foam. We recommend it for mattresses, window seats, and seat or back cushions. (Density: 2.5 lb/ft³, ILD: 34.)

DuraFlex™ D44 Very Firm	This foam is your mid-grade, good foam. DuraFlex™ D44 is expected to last 10 years without dipping, flattening, or softening. It's a very good foam. We recommend it for mattresses, window seats, and seat cushions. (Density: 2.6 lb/ft³, ILD: 40.)

EconoFlex™ C25 Medium-Soft	This foam is an inexpensive grade and good for any application in which you want something a little on the soft side. We recommend it for back cushions on a couch, guest beds, window seats, or for really thick seat cushions. This foam is expected to last 5 years without dipping, flattening, or softening. (Density: 1.8 lb/ft³, ILD: 25.)

EconoFlex™ C33 Medium-Firm	A medium foam. It is an inexpensive grade and good for any application. We recommend it for cushions on a couch, guest beds, window seats, or for really thick seat cushions. This foam is expected to last 5 years. (Density: 1.8 lb/ft³, ILD: 33.)

EconoFlex™ C55 Very Firm	EconoFlex™ C55 is a firm to very firm foam. It is also inexpensive. It is fine for a guest bed, window seat, or firm seat cushion in a sofa that is not used regularly. Regular use will break down this foam and it will soften. This foam is too firm for back cushions. It is great for 1", 2", and 3" (3-8 cm) thick applications since it won't easily bottom out. This foam is expected to last 5 years without dipping or flattening and it will soften just a little. (Density: 1.8 lb/ft³, ILD: 55.)

Y33 Medium	A lightweight foam perfect for applications that will not be compressed very often. This inexpensive foam will soften and may deform from being compression packaged when shipped. It comes in a light grayish-white color. (Density: 1 lb/ft³.)

The same warranty and return policies apply to these pieces as any other custom foam. In particular, because these items are offered at greatly reduced prices, a 25% restocking fee will apply to any return of a clearance item.
