Should I add Dacron Wrap?

Dacron Wrap is a layer of high-loft polyester batting that can be added to your custom square cushion. It provides several benefits:

  • Enhanced Shape: Dacron Wrap helps your cushion maintain a full, plump appearance over time, preventing it from looking flat.
  • Increased Comfort: The additional layer adds a touch of plushness for a more comfortable sitting experience.
  • Fuller Look: Dacron Wrap fills out the cushion, especially in areas like corners and edges, creating a more rounded and aesthetically pleasing shape. It’s recommended you at least do book wrap dacron wrap on your cushion.

While Dacron Wrap is completely optional, just be aware that without it your cushions will be very flat with sharp angles which is not typical for most cushions.

Can I add piping, ties, or other details to my custom cushion?

  • Standard: 3-14 days for cut foam, 4-6 weeks for sewn cushions (covers).

“We bought our comfy leather couch, 25 years ago. Needless to say, the cushions were past their prime. “We did research by reaching out to a number of companies that do custom Cushions. We wanted to make sure the foam we picked was the right kind for Outdoor use. The ones that will drain water and will also be firm. We got the guidance we were looking for and every one from Order placement to finally picking up the cushions from the Richmond warehouse were extremely helpful. The order was completed in the timeframe they expected to have it all ready and we are extremely please with our new cushions. Since then we have ordered three more foam (only) for existing covers.”
