Our Organic Wool Felt (needle-punched) is a dense, naturally resilient batting made from undyed organic wool. At approximately 1/4" thick and 90" wide, it adds cushioned loft, smooths surfaces, and provides a breathable, natural layer for upholstery, bedding, and DIY projects.

Note: As a natural product, minor thickness/loft variation and a light wool scent are normal and dissipate with airing.
Cut easily with sharp scissors or a rotary cutter; a light hand vacuum removes loose fibers after installation.
Wool is naturally flame-resistant; however, this material by itself is not a guarantee of compliance with 16 CFR 1632/1633 mattress flammability standards.
Is this the same as “needlepunch” wool?
Yes—this product is a needle-punched wool felt. The mechanical needling binds fibers without glues or chemical binders.
How accurate is the 1/4" thickness?
Loft varies slightly by batch and will compress under fabric. Expect small variations typical of natural wool products.
Does it have an odor?
You may notice a light, clean wool scent that dissipates with ventilation. No chemical off-gassing.
Can I wash it?
We recommend spot cleaning only. Machine washing can cause felting and shrinkage.
