If you select a mattress cover option other than the Terry Velour cover, the product will not meet federal flammability standards required for items sold as “mattresses.” In this case, your order will be classified and shipped as a “Custom Sleep Product” rather than a “Mattress.”
At FoamOrder, we intentionally offer options with fewer chemical additives to support our commitment to natural and organic materials. Some of these options do not include the flame-retardant chemicals necessary to comply with federal flammability standards (16 CFR Parts 1632 and 1633).
By purchasing without the Terry Velour cover, you acknowledge and agree that:
- The item is being sold to you as a “Custom Sleep Product,” not as a “Mattress.”
- With the selected cover, the product does not comply with federal flame-retardancy requirements.
- You accept full responsibility for the use of this product.
Cover Options:
Terry Velour Zippered Cover (Default): Premium option that meets federal flame retardancy standards.
Cotton-Poly Blend Zippered Cover (40% Cotton / 60% Polyester): Mid-range option at a reduced price.
Cotton Muslin Zippered Cover: Lightweight, economical choice for basic fabric protection.
No Cover: Lowest cost option, just the foam core with no protective fabric.
The lifespan depends on the foam type, use, and care:
• Everflex Foam – 8–12 years with daily use; up to 15–20 years with lighter use
• Econoflex Foam – 4–6 years with daily use; up to 10 years with lighter use
To maximize longevity, rotate the mattress periodically, use a breathable protector, and store it in a dry, well-ventilated area.

Term: 15-Year Limited Warranty (prorated after 7.5 years)
Coverage:
• Visible indentations over 1" under normal use
• 100% replacement credit in first 7.5 years
• Partial prorated credit after 7.5 years
Exclusions:

Shipping
Custom-cut polyurethane foam mattresses typically ship within 3–14 days, depending on foam type and production cycle. We rotate through different foams weekly, which may affect timing slightly. If your order exceeds this window, contact us here.
