If you select a mattress cover option other than the Terry Velour cover, the product will not meet federal flammability standards required for items sold as “mattresses.” In this case, your order will be classified and shipped as a “Custom Sleep Product” rather than a “Mattress.”

At FoamOrder, we intentionally offer options with fewer chemical additives to support our commitment to natural and organic materials. Some options do not include the flame-retardant chemicals necessary to comply with federal flammability standards (16 CFR 1632 and 1633).

1. Why do you ask for my weight range?

Because base layer support depends on three variables: memory foam thickness, the firmness of the Everflex® support foam, and the sleeper’s body weight. The same mattress can feel more supportive to a lighter individual and softer to someone heavier. We ask for weight range so we can recommend the correct base foam support level (Plush, Balanced, or Firm Support) tailored to your needs.

2. How long does a memory foam mattress last?

High-density memory foam is designed for durability—typically 8–12 years with daily use and up to 15 years with occasional use. Use a breathable protector, rotate periodically, and keep it in a dry, well-ventilated space to maximize longevity.

3. Do memory foam mattresses sleep hot?

Memory foam absorbs body heat, but its open-cell design promotes airflow for temperature regulation. A breathable cover and proper room ventilation further enhance cooling.

4. What is the best bed frame for a Full size memory foam mattress?

A Full size memory foam mattress works well on:

• Platform beds — solid or slatted surface for sturdy support
• Box springs & foundations — adds height and absorbs movement
• Adjustable bases — memory foam flexes easily with articulated frames

For slatted frames, ensure slats are ≤ 3 inches apart to prevent sagging and maintain proper support.
