Understanding the importance of environmental factors in addition to individual accomplishment, FoamOrder.com created a scholarship meant to assist students to focus on their intellectual development and career goals.

Students may apply for the $1,000 biannual scholarship to be paid toward tuition for the upcoming semester or quarter. Each student must write an essay on the impact of comfort and clean space in one’s environment contributing to reduced stress.

How to Apply  Program Has Ended

Eligible Students Will:

Write an essay of 800-1,000 words about the ways in which a person’s physical, mental, or emotional surroundings can affect their performance. Consider sharing an instance in which a hardship got in the way of your success or an instance in which a positive environment allowed you to succeed.
Email your essay and your transcript as PDF attachments to scholarship@foamorder.com. Include your first and last name in the file name. (Unofficial transcripts or screenshots of academic history are accepted as long as they include the student’s name, university’s name, and GPA.)

Specify which award you are applying for (January or July).

Who Can ApplyAny full-time student attending a four-year university in the United States who carries at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA may apply. Open to students of all majors.

Application DeadlineStudents must submit entries by December 10th to be considered for the scholarship awarded in January.
Students must submit entries by June 10th to be considered for the scholarship awarded in July.

Award AmountA gift of $1,000 will be awarded twice per year (January and July) to a different student each time.
﻿
Selection Process and NotificationThe FoamOrder.com Scholarship Committee will review each application and notify the winning student of their award by email.

Winning essays may be featured on the FoamOrder.com website or on other FoamOrder.com materials.
