We just purchased a tempurpedic bed and we were very excited since we have heard it is the very best bed you can buy and my husband and I both suffer with some back pain. However, we can not get a good nights sleep. We really want it to work out, but we feel like someone broke our backs when we get up in the morning. We have more pain now than ever before. Has anyone else had this problem or is it just us? We have been sleeping on it for two weeks now and still no luck. Can anyone tell us, does it get better as time goes by? Maybe it is just not the right bed for us, even though we want it to be.

When I first purchased this mattress it was the best thing I ever did!! I slept like a baby and found that my back problems had diminished. Now 1 year later, I am not as satisfied I find that the mattress is way too hot, I wake up in the middle of the night very stiff and do not feel rested in the morning, it doesn't seem to sink in anymore either. Now that the weather is getting colder it works a bit better but I still find it to be incredibly hot, even my three year old daughter said to me one morning, "I want to get up now, my back hurts." Three year olds should not be getting back pain.

Now I awake with no stiffness and I am not bent over for the first two hours of my day. I sleep all night. Yes, my arthritis is still there but it no longer keeps me from getting a good nights sleep. It is expensive, but I would have paid twice as much to get the relief at night.
